TPS & Bank Alfalah, in collaboration with Covalent and Access Group, organized Pakistan’s first Fintech Hackathon at the Momentum Tech Conference 2018.
Momentum Tech Conference is a platform where over 300 Startups got the opportunity to project themselves and connect with Incubators, Accelerators, and Investors from all across Pakistan and abroad.
The two-day hackathon was held on Monday and Tuesday, February 19-20 at Expo Center, Karachi. The aim of the Fintech Hackathon was to help create new customer experiences and revenue models by leveraging Pakistan’s digital payment ecosystem. It brought together developers, designers and entrepreneurs from all over Pakistan to use our latest payment APIs and create innovative payment use cases.
Developers, designers and entrepreneurs were provided unprecedented simulator based access to the entire cards and payments ecosystem. They could use over 30 Financial & Non-Financial APIs. Our topnotch payment professionals and API expert’s were available in-person to help them use our state-of-the-art payment APIs so they could focus on being creative and design a Fintech solution that has the potential to totally disrupt the financial services sector as it stands today.
