TPS celebrated its Annual Dinner in grand style on February 22, 2014 at Majestic Hall. Attended by 250+ employees it was thoroughly enjoyed and everyone renewed their spirits for an exciting year ahead! Arrangements were made to ensure TPS ME and other colleagues travelling could participate in the Annual Dinner through webcast.
The event was well-themed and spoke of the rich history of TPS and the promising future that TPS is looking forward to. The event kicked off with qirat and a welcome note from HR followed by speech sessions from Muhammad Sohail, CEO, Ovais Habib Khan, COO and Shahzad Shahid, CMO. Each of the presentations provided a thorough review of the past achievements and plans for the year ahead as well as Vision 2020. The annual general body meeting brings an opportunity for all the employees to share, learn and provide input on the past and future initiatives as well as to coherently hear the employe views and suggestions on making the initiatives successful. The steering committee also took this opportunity to appreciate the performance of the star achievers for the previous year.
This time around TPS for the first time recognized employees with 5+ years service along with the traditional 10+ years service. The mementoes were much appreciated by everyone. A skit organized by TPS employees kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The event concluded with a grand dinner that everyone feasted to their hearts content.
